Is there an entry fee per category or per entry?
You will need to pay per entry submitted even if these are in the same category.
Are there any extra fees later in the year?
No, once you've paid your entry fee there is no further obligatory payment to make. We do not charge fees for winners, trophies, publication or anything else.
In the event that we hold a winners' ceremony, there may be a charge for this but attendance is not obligatory.
How can I pay for my entry?
Once you have completed the entry form on our website, a review and submit button will appear on the page. After clicking on this button you can pay by card or PayPal to submit your entry.
Are projects that are still in progress allowed to enter?
No, we do not accept speculative or unrealised projects in the architecture, interiors and design categories. To be eligible to enter, your project must have been completed between 1 June 2020 and 2 June 2022.
However, you can enter images of real-world, imagined or virtual projects, including NFTs, into the visualisation of the year media category.
You can find out more about eligibility in our terms and conditions.
How do I create an account?
You can visit the enter now page or directly sign up using the register form.
Which category should I enter my project into?
If you're not sure which category to enter, please have another look at our categories page and carefully read the descriptions. Having a look at our previous winners may also help!
If you're still unsure, please contact the awards team with details about your project and someone will assist you.
What materials are needed for my entry?
We will ask you for a short project description at a maximum of 100 words and a long project description at a maximum of 500 words. We'll also ask you to tell us why you should win a Dezeen Award, at a maximum of 500 words.
You'll be asked to upload a hero image, which is a photograph that best represents your project, up to ten gallery images and up to ten supporting images, which can include drawings.
Do not upload collages or renders unless you are entering the visualisation of the year category.
I am having trouble submitting my entry, what do I do?
If you're having trouble submitting your entry, please check that all images are smaller than 10MB and make sure that all required fields have been completed, including those in your account details.
We advise you to use the latest version of Google Chrome. Please also try using an incognito window to clear any caching issues.
Can I edit my entry after I've paid?

I have another question!
