Competition: win a Bellevue floor lamp from &Tradition
For our latest competition, we've teamed up with Danish brand &Tradition to offer readers the chance to win a Bellevue floor lamp, designed by architect Arne Jacobsen.
&Tradition launched two anniversary editions of the lamp this year to celebrate what would be Jacobsen's 120th birthday.
Two lucky Dezeen readers will win a Bellevue lamps, in the choice of the brand's anniversary colours – white and stone grey.
Both editions of the lamp have a bronzed brass stem, cast iron base and distinctive lampshade made from a single sheet of metal.
The lamp was designed by Jacobsen in 1929 and it is considered to be a classic piece of Danish minimalist design.
According to the brand, Bellevue's clean lines and understated silhouette exemplify the architect's contribution to Danish modernism.
"Jacobsen is remembered for his exacting perfectionism, his preference for organic forms, and his ability to marry elegance with function," said &Tradition.
"These pioneering qualities are all apparent in the Bellevue, a floor lamp that feels as contemporary now as when it was first created."
As well as reissuing iconic mid-century furniture designs, &Tradition produces contemporary pieces in collaboration with international designers.
