Dezeen Showroom: design duo GamFratesi created the compact Nice chair for Italian brand Poltrona Frau, which is designed for maximum comfort.

Nice is a small table armchair that Poltrona Frau describes as having "a strong presence in the lunchroom".

It is formed from two curved elements, the shell and backrest, which slot into one another and overlap, leaving a small void at the rear that gives the chair a distinctive character.

The elements come together to create a chair that both looks inviting and offers comfort and support to the body.

The Nice chair is available with leather or fabric upholstery in a range of colours, and there is also the option of saddle leather for the backrest, which has tailored stitching and creates a strong silhouette.

The chair sits on slender metal legs as its base, giving it a visual lightness and modern sensibility.
