Dezeen Showroom: part of a minimalistic bathroom accessories collection by Geesa, the Opal 60-centimetre towel rail has a simplistic form built from basic shapes.
Geesa's Opal collection is characterised by its combination of round and rectangular shapes, including a distinctive circular wall mount detail.
The collection also has a playful aspect, which in the case of the towel rail, yields a design where the disc-like mounts appear to float above the rod.
The Opal towel rail comes in five finish options – chrome, brushed stainless steel, black, brushed gold and brushed metal black – and Geesa draws particular attention to the brushed stainless steel.
"The curved shape gives this rail an amiable appearance," said Geesa. "The towel rail features playful lines with a harmonious flow and plenty of suspension options."
The other products in the Opal collection include towel hooks and rings, toilet roll holders, soap holders and shelves.
