Kuyu Dine table by Formstelle for Zeitraum
Dezeen Showroom: designed by Formstelle for German brand Zeitraum, the Kuyu Dine table features faceted legs that are both sculptural and understated.
The shape of the Kuyu Dine table's legs are abstracted from that of African masks, and precision-cut to sharp angles that Zeitraum likens to diamonds.
At the same time, the solid wood material gives the shape a softness and warmth.
"The cut diamonds of solid wood appear sculpturally powerful and at the same time seem to float," said Zeitraum.
The Kuyu Dine table is available with a choice of three tabletop shapes, including circle, rectangle, or convex rectangle.
There are also a range of woods and finishes available, such as oiled white ash, oak, colour-stained oak, American walnut or European walnut.
