Dezeen Showroom: architect and Buster and Punch founder Massimo Minale designed Fork lighting to bring out the beauty of metal through multiple techniques.
Featuring a combination of cast, machined and hand-spun solid metal with a forked detail above the shade, the Forked lighting range is meant to be a statement of the Buster and Punch aesthetic.
Forked comes in pendant and ceiling variations in two sizes, and it is a modular design, so the three elements of light, shade and globe can be used all together or combining just the light and shade or light and globe.
The solid metal shade is hand-spun and the globe is hand-blown from opal or smoked glass.
Minale started Buster and Punch out of a garage in East London and says that this year the brand will release a number of collections that combine their full experience of solid metal engineering.
"There's decorative opaque glass globes, lightweight spun metal, our solid metal knurling and the unique rough cast fork detail," said Minale. "The light qualities of the collection are really versatile."
