Dezeen Showroom: a rug range designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and a textile collection with an earthy colour palette informed by the Najd desert are among the furniture designs on Dezeen Showroom that are being launched during Milan design week.

Ten top furniture brands are releasing a number of products during the week, from kitchens made from Italian walnut to curved lounge chairs.
Here's a selection of the latest furniture designs on Dezeen Showroom that are being launched during Milan design week.
Ghia table collection by Arper
Italian furniture brand Arper's Ghia tables are customisable in size, shape and finish.
The tables are made from both naturally sourced and human-made materials and are informed by patterns from the natural world.
They can be used as coffee, end or occasional tables and are available in moss green-painted MDF, red clay, oak veneer in natural or black, or with a dark or light terrazzo top.

The Collar chair by furniture brand Bensen is a curved-back armchair that has a comforting polyurethane body.
The body of the chair is constructed around a structural metal frame and is supported by a wooden linear structure.
It is designed to be a versatile piece of furniture that can be used for various occasions, including reading or having a conversation.

Atlante kitchen design by L'Ottocento
The Atlante kitchen design by Italian brand L'Ottocento is designed to be extendable to the living room.
It is made from solid Italian walnut and is intended to create a continuous wood finish for the home.
The kitchen is created in collaboration with design consultancy makethatstudio and includes a range of storage and panelling options.

Small Living Kitchens – islands by Falper
The Small Living Kitchens system by Falper is designed to make compact spaces appear stylish.
It is made up of storage units and islands that can be configured in a variety of ways.
The islands are available in three sizes and in different models, one made of marble and two featuring a combination of stainless steel and either wood or coloured lacquer surfaces.

Najd textile collection by Tristan Auer for Lelièvre Paris
The Najd textile collection created by architect and designer Tristan Auer for Lelièvre Paris includes a number of geometric patterns and textured surfaces.
It is informed by Saudi Arabian design and comes in linen, cotton Jacquard and high-performance fabric.
The textile collection's natural and earthy colour palette references the Najd desert.

Ad All collection by Mathias Hahn for Zeitraum
Product designer Mathias Hahn has created the Ad All collection of home accessories for furniture manufacturer Zeitraum that includes wall hooks, folding screens, mirrors and step stools.
Each product celebrates the materiality of wood and is available in oak, oak-colour stain or American walnut finishes.

Ell Washbasin by Agape is the freestanding version of the brand's Ell sink, which is distinguished by a flat basin that's covered by a grille to hide its drainage.
Ell's basin and grille are available in white Carrara, Carnic grey or black Marquina marble, as well as white or black versions of the acrylic surface material Corian.

Quilt rug by Ellinor Eliasson for Kasthall
Designer Ellinor Eliasson created the Quilt rug for Kasthall, which is informed by Japanese Boro textiles that involved mending textiles with different fabrics in order to extend their life.
The rug is available in two colour schemes – Bronze Green and Terracotta Sand – and hand-tufted from wool and linen.

For Italian brand Devon&Devon Dutch, designer Marcel Wanders has created a collection of furniture, wall coverings and accessories, which includes dressing tables and mirrors.
The collection is available in patterned prints that come in a range of shades to suit a variety of spaces.
