Dezeen Showroom: a sofa system distinguished by its square seating modules is among 14 new products on Dezeen Showroom.
RUT seating system by Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius for Blå Station
Designed by Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius for Blå Station, RUT is a modular seating system comprising square modules that measure 75 x 75 centimetres.
The cushioned seats can be arranged into different configurations on an exposed steel H-beam base, with intersecting solid oak wood planks that can be used as tables.
RUT seating system was featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside a minimalist chair made from recycled plastic and a rug that aims to expose the global issue of river pollution.

Oell side table by Jean-Marie Massaud for Arper
The Oell side table features a cantilevering tabletop and chunky base that mimics a weighted piece of stone, and was created by French designer Jean-Marie Massaud for Italian brand Arper.
Designed to be used next to an armchair or sofa, the table is available in two different heights and in a range of colour finishes.
Solaria modular sofa by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Poltrona Frau
Solaria is an outdoor sofa that can be arranged in multiple configurations, created by design duo Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Italian brand Poltrona Frau.
Designed for gardens, poolsides, terraces or decks, the sofa can be customised into straight or corner variations by adding backrests and armrests.
Juno 02 chair by Studio Irvine for Arper
Studio Irvine has created a minimalist chair made from 70 per cent post-industrial recycled plastic for Italian brand Arper.
Named Juno 02, the chair is an updated version of the open-back Juno chair and is available in six colours.
Tearoom seating collection by Nick Ross for Menu
The Tearoom seating collection, designed by Nick Ross for furniture brand Menu, combines plush upholstery with a minimalist silhouette.
The collection includes three chairs and a sofa, each with a curving backrest designed to cocoon the sitter.

Informed by the Onyx gemstone, Spanish brand Azteca designed the Onyx Lux tiles with unusual pale shades of blue and green.
The tile range is available in three neutral colours, as well as two more daring tones of light green and light blue.

J39 Mogensen anniversary chair by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia
To celebrate 75 years since its launch, Fredericia has released an anniversary edition of its J39 Mogensen chair, originally created by Danish designer Børge Mogensen.
The anniversary edition has a rush seat hand-woven from sedge grass, which echoes the natural materials and hand craftsmanship used for the original chair.

Plastic Rivers rugs by Álvaro Catalán de Ocón for Gan
Plastic Rivers is a collection of rugs by Álvaro Catalán de Ocón that aims to draw attention to the global issue of river pollution.
Available from Spanish brand Gan, the rugs are made from 100 per cent recycled PET plastic fibres and display aerial views of the Ganges, Yangtze, Indus and Niger rivers.

Issho is a round-edged dining table with a series of curved pillar bases that can be moved to form an open or closed appearance.
Designed by furniture brand King, the table can be finished in a number of woods and ceramics, including American walnut, Nero Marquina marble, Congo and smoked oak.
Plum chair by Gabbertas Studio for Allermuir
The Plum lounge chair has a simple, rounded form, and was designed by Gabbertas Studio for Allermuir to blend seamlessly into commercial, hotel and home settings.
The pillow-like elements that make up the seat, backrest and armrests are designed to be inviting while also disguising the chair's structural components.
Whisky Chair by Finn Juhl via House of Finn Juhl
Danish architect and designer Finn Juhl's mid-century seating design has been relaunched by House of Finn Juhl.
Named Whisky Chair, it features a folding brass tray inset into the armrest, with a circular indent designed to hold a whisky tumbler.

The Gatsby wall covering features a geometric pattern of fine lines and was designed by Jeffrey Ibañez to harken back to the art deco era.
Gatsby is made of Impact Acoustic's high-performance Archisonic textile, which is made from recycled plastic bottles and contains around 88 PET bottles per square metre.
