Dezeen Showroom: Italian designer Roberto Lazzeroni has brought his minimalist, geometric style to the Secret Garden Table, a new table in Italian furniture brand Poltrona Frau's Boundless Living Outdoor Collections.
The Secret Garden table has a simplified rectangular shape and is designed for "patios and verandas, gardens, terraces and decks of yachts and ships, in both residential and contract settings," according to Poltrona Frau.
The large but narrow table has a teak wood frame in a rich shade of brown. Its defining feature is its two-tone top, which comes with two colour combinations of pale green and a darker greeny-blue.
The top is made of geometric panels in hand-crafted glazed stoneware – a material often used in traditional Mediterranean design. The stone was chosen for its resistance to adverse weather conditions, which was necessary for the outdoor table.
"The table is practicality combined with master craftsmanship," said the brand. "The teak wood outdoor dining table in a natural finish furnishes spaces on the border between indoors and outdoors."
