Small Living Kitchens storage units by Andrea Federici for Falper
Dezeen Showroom: Italian brand Falper has launched a storage unit designed by Andrea Federici as part of its new Small Living Kitchens collection, which aims to give small cooking spaces a luxurious feel.
The Small Living Kitchens – storage unit from Falper, created by Andrea Federici, takes the form of a single element that can be configured for 11 different functions.
Compatible with standard-sized built-in kitchen appliances, the storage unit has doors with 45-degree edges and load-bearing hinges to accommodate a refrigerator.
The unit is constructed from plywood or MDF with a choice of glossy or matte lacquers or wood-grain veneers inside and out.
Shelves for the piece are made from matte black aluminium frames and the compartments are lit internally by LEDs, while dark grey glass doors are also available.
Small Living Kitchens was recently launched by Falper as a patented concept that brings the "high standards and convivial layouts of large kitchens" to spaces as small as 2.5 square metres.
It is defined by kitchen units with a simple, rational design that does not need to be built in and can be used in many different combinations to suit an individual project.
The brand, which is better known for its bathroom furniture, previously showcased the islands included in the Small Living Kitchens collection.
