J39 Mogensen chair by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia
Available from Danish brand Fredericia, the J39 Mogensen chair has a solid wood frame with a hand-woven seat made from natural paper cord.
The chair was designed 75 years ago by Børge Mogensen, who was inspired by the simplicity and functionality of Shaker furniture.
The J39 Mogensen chair was featured on Dezeen Showroom this week, alongside a sound-absorbing lamp made up of sculptural spheres and an outdoor furniture collection that features curving aluminium shapes.

Created by designers Runa Klock and Hallgeir Homstvedt for Abstracta, Holly is a sculptural acoustic lamp made up of a cluster of textile-covered and milk glass orbs.
The glass spheres produce a soft glowing light, while the textile spheres are filled with textile scraps and provide sound absorption.
Zerogloss Kitchen by Zerogloss
The Zerogloss Kitchen has a steel frame with worktops available in oak or porcelain stoneware and optional natural or lacquered oak finishes for the drawers and cabinets.
The kitchen has an industrial appearance and was designed by Italian brand Zerogloss to be easy for users to assemble.

Solanas outdoor furniture collection by Daniel Germani for Gandia Blasco
Spanish brand Gandia Blasco has expanded its Solanas collection of outdoor furniture by adding a three-seater sofa, conversation chair and partition wall and tables.
Created by Argentinian architect and designer Daniel Germani, the collection is characterised by curved shapes made from aluminium.
Named for its streamlined shape and fin-like back and armrests, The Penguin Chair is a playful design that has been relaunched by Danish furniture brand MENU.
Originally created by Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1953, the chair has a sculptural metal frame, wood veneer backrest and upholstered seat. MENU has released the chair in three iterations, including a dining, lounge and rocking chair.

Characterised by its rounded shape, The Secret Garden armchair was designed by Roberto Lazzeroni to create a relaxing and inviting place to sit outdoors.
Available from furniture brand Poltrona Frau, the armchair has a solid teak wood frame with a backrest made from woven cotton straps.

The Cachalot lamp has an abstract shape that references the body of a whale, created by Yoshiki Matsuyama for Japanese brand Ambientec.
The lamp emits a soft, warm light and is both portable and rechargeable. Its LED unit sits within a clear or dark grey acrylic case, which is mounted on a die-cast zinc base.
