The longlisted sustainability projects in this year's three categories feature designs from studios in 29 different countries including Uganda, Mexico, Vietnam, Finland, and Australia.
All longlisted design projects are listed below with a link to a dedicated page on the Dezeen Awards website where you can find an image and more information about each entry.
All longlists to be announced this week
All longlists for Dezeen Awards 2022 are being announced this week. Yesterday we published the design longlist and later today we will be revealing the media longlist.
Dezeen Awards longlisted projects have been selected from 5,400 entries from 90 countries for our fifth awards programme, which champions the best designs across the globe.
The next stage of Dezeen Awards 2022 will see all longlisted projects assessed by our expert jury of leading professionals, including sustainability head judge and environmental design writer Katie Tregidden, furniture restorer Jay Blades and architect Rajeev Kathpalia.
The judges will determine which projects make it to the shortlists, which will be announced in September. Another round of judging by our master jury will determine the category winners, which will be announced in October.
