Hidden Tints, Sweden, by Note Design Studio
When transforming this 19th-century Stockholm office into a home, Note Design Studio aimed to celebrate pastel colours, opting for yellow, green, and pink hues instead of typical Scandinavian minimalism.
The green-toned bedroom features parquet flooring along with cabinets and wall panelling adorned with angular details. The pale green hue of the walls works with the whites and light greys to maintain a subtle palette in the space.

Chelsea Pied-à-Terre, US, by Stadt Architecture
A green and gold mural adds character to this New York apartment by Stadt Architecture, which features green furnishings and accessories.
Hand-painted by Calico Wallpaper, the custom mural was a response to the client's brief to "bring some of the lush natural landscape from southwestern Canada to mitigate downtown Manhattan's concrete landscape".

Fifteen Fifty Penthouse, US, by Gabriel & Guillaume
A master bedroom with almond green walls features in the interior of this SOM-designed penthouse, which was decorated with bright colours and patterns by French-Lebanese gallery Gabriel & Guillaume.
The vivid green walls were complemented with brightly coloured furnishings including a long yellow curtain and a hand-knotted wool and silk rug by Marguerite le Maire.

David Hotson took advantage of the unique forms of the space while designing this New York penthouse, which has a playful character and features a tubular steel slide.
Dramatic elements and energetic shapes and colours, including bright climbing walls and triangular recesses, feature throughout the space. A children's bedroom is backed into a triangular space with an arched window that invites light onto pale green walls that add a touch of colour to the otherwise white interior.

Kyiv Apartment, Ukraine, by Special Project Venediktov
This Kyiv apartment by Special Project Venediktov uses bold blue and green walls to define different areas. The richness of the colours causes them to change dramatically under different levels of light.
The studio drew attention to the deep green shade of the walls by adding orange and blue accents through the lamps and bed sheets. Light hits one side of the green room through a large window, changing the appearance of the bold colours.

Green walls are the backdrop to neutrally toned furnishings in the bedroom of De Beauvoir Townhouse by HÛT.
A timber headboard stands out against the bedroom walls. The sage green colour, which continues onto the joinery and other surfaces in the bedroom, was also used in the kitchen suite and velvet sofa in the living room.

This fire-damaged apartment in Barcelona was enlivened with richly hued bands of paint. A dark sage green ceiling hangs over the master bedroom, while a lighter green tone covers the bottom half of the bedroom walls.
A tile floor patterned with warmer tones coats the floor, mirroring the colour of the pink stripe that runs along the walls leading to the bedroom.

Pastel pink and green walls feature throughout this London apartment by Jonathan Tuckey Design, which uses deep-set MDF storage walls to optimise the space.
The master bedroom is accessed via an arched doorway surrounded by built-in shelves and platforms for additional storage. The room has been finished with light pistachio walls, open shelves, green side tables and an emerald-tinted headboard.

Budge Over Dover, Australia, by YSG
Rich colour palettes and rough textures define this Sydney apartment renovation by YSG. Briefed to create a more "fluid" sense of space across the house, the studio united the rooms of the house through the consistent rendering of surfaces and "interplay of polished and raw finishes".
A dark, mossy green shade coats the walls of the master bedroom, acting as a backdrop to the beige and orange-toned furnishings.

Modern furniture and unique creations by Greek designer Stamos Michael fill the interior of this Athens guesthouse.
Green-painted walls feature throughout the house, whilst plum walls and exposed timber add accents to the rooms. The bedroom sits on the mezzanine level beneath a pitched wooden roof and is accessed by a black staircase lined with terracotta tiles.
