Ten versatile surfaces and finishes for interior spaces
Dezeen Showroom: rugs informed by polluted rivers and tiles that take cues from traditional ceramics are the latest interior finishes to be featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Also included is an upholstery fabric made from wool and flax by Camira, a range of clay tiles intended to be mixed and matched by New Terracotta and a selection of linoleum flooring by Tarkett.
Dezeen Showroom lists a wide assortment of wall, floor and surface treatments from a variety of internationally recognised manufacturers and brands.
Plastic Rivers rugs by Álvaro Catalán de Ocón for Gan
Designer Álvaro Catalán de Ocón collaborated with Spanish brand Gan to create a collection of rugs that depict four significant waterways and their topographical surroundings.
Plastic Rivers rugs are made by hand from 100 per cent recycled PET plastic fibres to bring awareness to the pollution present in the world's waterways.

Tarkett Lino flooring by Tarkett
Tarkett has updated and relaunched its range of classic linoleum floors, which were originally released in 1898, to meet contemporary user needs.
The Tarkett Lino range includes a spectrum of new colours, hues and patterns that can be used to cover floors, walls and furniture.

Marazzi designed its Lume tiles to have natural variations in patina to give the illusion of being made by hand.
The tiles' elongated shape means they have a different presence when laid either vertically or horizontally in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Doge tiles by Halcon Ceramicas
Spanish tile manufacturer Halcon Ceramics created its line of Doge tiles to pay homage to the Doge Palace in Venice, which features flooring made of crushed fragments of marble and stone.
The brand took the palace's flooring and created a more installable, compatible iteration available in neutral shades with matte finishes.

Sustonable surfaces by Sustonable
Material manufacturer Sustonable designed its versatile Sustonable surfaces collection to be suitable for application across walls, floors, worktops and furniture.
The finishes are hardwearing and come in a range of patterns, including ones that mimic traditional stone finishes such as marble and terrazzo.

Main Line Twist textile by Camira
British textile brand Camira developed its Main Line Twist upholstery fabric as "a new take on tweed", according to the brand.
The tactile fabric is made up of a combination of wool and flax and is available in 15 colourways.
Knight Tile flooring collection by Karndean Designflooring
UK-based brand Karndean Designflooring designed its vinyl Knight Tile collection to replicate the aesthetic qualities of wood and stone.
The tiles come in 12 stone and ten wood effects rendered in light to medium tones to compliment a range of colour trends.

Dune Ceramica has created a terrazzo-effect tile to compliment its existing Chicago collection.
The hexagonal Terrazo tile is characterised by its white background and playful shards of colours taken directly from the Chicago range.
Earth Tone tile collection by Cavaril
Hungarian tiling company Cavaril designed its Earth Tone tile range in an assortment of carved patterns and neutral and warm shades, including terracotta, pale ochre and warm gold.
The concrete tiles' sculpted surfaces feature fluted, grooved and faceted details.

Parquet Bisque tiles by New Terracotta
New Terracotta's Parquet Bisque tiles were designed to showcase their uniquely irregular edges and small blemishes and imperfections.
Forty-four different shapes and sizes of clay tiles make up the collection, which was designed to encourage mix-and-match applications to create playful, dynamic patterns.
