Rosa Persia tiles by Arklam
Dezeen Showroom: Spanish manufacturer Arklam has released Rosa Persia, a range of "easy to live with" tiles that can be used to cover everything from floors to counters and entire facades.
Although made from ceramic, the Rosa Persia tiles were designed to replicate natural stone, combining a realistic mix of mid and light grey tones with white crystallised veins.
The design is available in two formats, 120 by 300 centimetres and 160 by 320 centimetres, with the larger format slabs designed to offer a seamless, grout-free look.
Rosa Persia also comes in two different thicknesses – a thinner six-millimetre version that is suitable for cladding walls and floors, and a sturdier 12-millimetre version that can be used to form kitchen countertops or furnishings.
Arklam describes the tiles as "easy to live with and ideal for both commercial and residential projects".
The tiles are also waterproof and treated to prevent slips, stains and scratches, allowing them to be used both indoors and outdoors.
Arklam is part of Tile of Spain, an association of more than 100 Spanish tile manufacturers.
