UK studio Foster + Partners completed 425 Park Avenue in New York, which is the first skyscraper to be built on Park Avenue in over 50 years.
At 47-stories tall, 425 Park Avenue houses private office spaces and sits alongside several of the city's landmarks including Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Seagram Building and Lever House by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM).
When speaking about the project, studio founder Norman Foster said the studio aimed to honour the "elegance of its landmark neighbours" whilst also "pushing the boundaries of workplace design".
In addition to office spaces, the building contains a triple-height lobby, a world-class restaurant and a showroom space.
Other stories in the latest newsletter include the announcement of Dezeen's new co-CEOs Benedict Hobson and Wai Shin Li, SOMs' unveiling of its design for Singapore's first supertall skyscraper and Foster + Partners' completion of the EU's tallest building in Warsaw.
