Dezeen Showroom: Nordic design studio Jacob Jensen Design has created an outdoor lighting collection for Danish lighting brand Nordlux, which features ribbed surfaces that cast patterns of light and shadow.
Named Aludra, the collection includes wall lamps, ceiling lamps and two sizes of garden lights that can be inserted into the ground.
Each lamp in the collection has a cylindrical shape available in black, aluminium and brown metallic finishes.
Nordlux designed the lighting to be sculptural and minimalist for a cohesive outdoor lighting scheme.
"Aludra is a compact and versatile collection that creates a beautiful light and shadow effect for a welcoming ambience in your outdoor space," said Nordlux.
"With this design, our goal was a vivid experience, the surface should appear to open and close as you move past it, letting light out just for you."
