Dezeen Showroom: a globe-shaped acoustic light fixture made partially from recycled plastic bottles is among 11 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Moon light by Thomas Bernstrand for Abstracta
Office furniture brand Abstracta and designer Thomas Bernstrand created a spherical acoustic light covered in a material made from discarded bottles.
The light is suitable for use as a single statement pendant or in clusters across interiors in the workplace, public and hospitality sectors.
Moon was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a collection of wallpapers that includes prints that take cues from trees as well as a series of art prints with acoustic properties.

Wallpaper brand Wall&decò has launched a collection of 71 distinct wallpapers for 2023 presented across three unique "mood boards".
The brand's Contemporary Wallpaper 2023 collection includes a design based on tree bark and a pattern that takes cues from coloured blocks of resin.

Abstracta x Wall of Art acoustic art prints by Abstracta
Art platform Wall of Art worked with Swedish company Abstracta on a collection of wall decor pieces that have dual functionality as both decorative artwork and tools for dampening sound.
Abstracta x Wall of Art includes 13 prints made by four artists. All pieces have a fabric backing designed to absorb sound, which is made from waste textiles and recycled plastic bottles.

British bathroom design brand Lusso has released a collection of vanity units that take cues from high-end fashion houses.
Couture units comes in both single and dual sink options that are finished with Italian Carrara marble counters, brushed gold hardware and finely fluter cabinet doors.
Aludra outdoor lighting by Jacob Jensen Design for Nordlux
Jacob Jensen Design and Nordlux collaborated on a series of lighting fixtures that share characteristic slatted shades despite their differing size formats.
Aludra consists of a wall light, ceiling-mounted lamp and bollard all designed for use in outdoor applications.
Versale lighting by Anker Studio for Nordlux
Nordlux worked with Anker Studio on the design of a lighting collection comprising a table lamp, floor lamp and pendant light.
All of the pieces in the Versale range share the same bowl-shaped shade and are available in either black or white.
Grid rug by Professor Craig S Kaplan for Azmas Rugs
Textile company Azmas Rugs collaborated with computer scientist Craig S Kaplan, who designed a custom software that creates repeating geometric patterns based on mathematical principles.
Grid's design is created by the software, but the product is handmade by artisans in India, which means that each rug has a unique quality despite being dictated by a technological programme.
Böste lounge chair by Stefan Borselius for Skargaarden
Designer Stefan Borselius created a modern take on the iconic Westport Chair for furniture brand Skargaarden.
Böste is made from FSC certified teak and is designed to take on a silvery grey patina over time.
Knekk furniture collection by Jon Fauske for Fora Form
Scandinavian brand Fora Form has released new additions to its Knekk furniture range by Norwegian designer Jon Fauske.
The furniture collection now consists of a bench, table and chair as well as the original bar stool, which are all made from solid oak.
Saltholm sofa by Studio Norrlandet for Skargaarden
In collaboration with Studio Norrlandet, Swedish furniture company Skargaarden designed an outdoor sofa with a teak wood frame that encases deep, pillowed seats.
Saltholm sofas can be upholstered in an array of fabrics and are part of a collection that includes a lounge chair, ottoman and table.

British lighting design brand Curiousa has released a modular statement light made up of illuminated inner tubes running through sequences of undulating glass shapes.
Wave Chandelier consists of a ceiling plate from which hang large blown glass bead-like vessels that are available in 22 colours. The pieces can be suspended either vertically or horizontally.
