Dezeen Showroom: French design brand Petite Friture has added a new colourway to its Week-End collection of outdoor furniture – a muted hue called Dune that the company describes as "the perfect nude".
Designed by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet of Parisian studio Brichet Ziegler, the Week-End collection includes a range of tables and seats with playful oval backrests made from slatted aluminium.
"The impact of the horizontal and vertical slats, so similar to stripes, highlights the full and empty spaces, asserting the identity of the collection," said Petite Friture.
The juxtaposition of straight and curved lines helps to give the collection a graphic character that is complemented by its extended range of 10 powder-coated colours, veering from canary blue to acid yellow.
The newest colourway, Dune, is a warm sandy beige hue that, according to Petite Friture, is "the perfect nude".
Comfier seating options such as the armchair and the sofa can also be topped with matching outdoor cushions in light grey or anthracite.
All of the designs in the collection are stackable for easy storage and come with a five-year guarantee.
