Dezeen Showroom: New Zealand lighting brand Nightworks Studio has released a range of lighting named Petrine, which features cross-shaped forms made from brass.

Petrine's extruded cross-shaped design is available in three iterations, including a single pendant light, a double pendant light and a wall sconce.

Each of the lights is available in a number of different solid brass finishes including natural brass, whiskey brass and midnight brass.

The Petrine collection uses LED lighting technology and has inset bulbs fitted into each extruded fork of the light. It was constructed so that visible screws are hidden from its exterior.

The Petrine wall sconce has an IP44 rating which means the light can be installed in outdoor settings.
