Dezeen Showroom: part of a range designed with extensive customisation options, the Atrio Private Collection shower mixer by Grohe has a minimal form that is designed to harmonise with many bathroom decorating styles.

The thermostatic shower mixer is one of the products in the Atrio Private Collection, which builds on Grohe's Atrio range with additional levers, finishes and even inlay materials to offer the possibility of creating bespoke bathroom tapware.

The shower mixer continues the range's hallmark forms, with dual cylindrical knobs set within a circular metal plate — a pared-back look that suits bathroom styles ranging from the classic and ornate to the minimal and modern.

The knobs control the water temperature and switch between hand-held and rain shower heads, and can be finished with discs of Caesarstone Quartz as inlays.

The Atrio Private Collection can be specified in a wide range of finishes, including the gold-coloured Cool Sunrise, which Grohe says is most striking against dark tiles and interiors.

The mixer pairs well with the collection's slimline Rainshower Aquastick hand shower, which offers Grohe's DreamSpray optimised spray pattern and an anti-limescale technology.
