Studio Gang has designed an addition to the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan.
Named the Richard Gilder Center for Science, Innovation, and Education, the building has a stone facade made from Milford pink granite and a cavernous interior.
Readers were in love with the project. One thought the building was "extraordinary and beautifully crafted", whilst another described it as an "interesting sort of new organic architecture".
Other stories in this week's newsletter that fired up the comments section included Yasmeen Lari winning the 2023 RIBA Royal Gold Medal, Alessi's launch of a furniture collection designed by Philippe Starck and a beachside home in Cornwall by Of Architecture.
