Dezeen is hosting events with several international brands during NYCxDesign, with talks and social events throughout the city, including conversations with Tom Dixon and Luca Nichetto and parties with Japanese brand Muji and local design gallery TRNK.
Dezeen is also moderating talks for the Look Book showcase at WantedDesign Manhattan at ICFF, as well as teaming up with body care brand Flamingo for a panel discussion on women's well-being in design and partnering with London Design Festival on a symposium exploring the future of packaging.

Dezeen x Flamingo: Women's Wellbeing and the Power of Design

Dezeen has teamed up with Flamingo for a talk at the HBF Showroom in Manhattan at 11:00am.
The talk is moderated by Dezeen design editor Jennifer Hahn. Design leaders including Cher Russo, creative director of Flamingo, Alda Ly, founder of Alda Ly Architecture, and Ayse Birsel, co-founder of Birsel + Seck, will discuss how they approach designing products, brands and spaces specifically for women and how the nuance of the female experience shapes design practices in today's world.

Dezeen X TRNK: Cocktail party

As two leading design platforms in the industry, TRNK and Dezeen have teamed up to bring you a fun and engaging evening of cocktails, conversation and inspiration.
Taking place at TRNK's Tribeca showroom from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, the party is an opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow design enthusiasts, industry professionals and members of the TRNK and Dezeen teams.

Dezeen x WantedDesign: Look Book Live
Monday 21 May
Dezeen has partnered with WantedDesign to present a panel discussion at 4:00pm on the ICFF showroom floor at the Javits Center in Hudson Yards.
Moderated by Dezeen US editor Ben Dreith, the panel will bring four creatives from WantedDesign's Look Book, a showcase of international designers, together for a conversation about their work and process. The talk will include Mexico City-based furniture designer Sebastián Angeles, Canadian lighting designer Christian Lo, and US designers Tom Lerental and Caleb Ferris. It is supported by the acoustic panelling company Turf.
The talk is free to attend for anyone with a ticket to ICFF.
Dezeen x Haute Living: party and talk with Tom Dixon and Roberto Palomba
Monday 22 May
Join us to celebrate Haute Living NYC's one-year anniversary with British designer Tom Dixon, who will be showcasing pieces from his new collection, and Italian architect and designer Roberto Palomba of Palomba Serafini Associati, who will be presenting his outdoor collection for outdoor furniture company Talenti.
Come and enjoy music, DJs, small bites and cocktails, and a conversation about the future of design with Dixon and Palomba moderated by Dezeen co-CEO Benedict Hobson, from 5:oopm.

Dezeen x Lladró: Soft Blown by Nichetto Studio
Tuesday 23 May
Dezeen is partnering with Lladró in New York City to celebrate Soft Blown, a collection of playful porcelain lamps by Venice and Stockholm-based Nichetto Studio that draw from the colours and shapes of inflatables.
Nichetto Studio founder Luca Nichetto will speak to Dezeen's co-CEO Benedict Hobson about the collection, with cocktails served throughout the event, which takes place at Lladró Boutique on 435W 14th St from 5:30pm.

Global Design Forum: Circular Design Series presents The Future of Packaging symposium

Dezeen has teamed up with London Design Festival's Global Design Forum to invite industry leaders to a symposium exploring the future of packaging, which features speakers including Paola Antonelli, Cyrill Gutsch and Ayse Birsel.
Part of the Circular Design Series in partnership with SAP, the main event takes place at The Standard Hotel High Line, which will be preceded by an interactive session at the SAP Experience Centre in the morning.

Dezeen x Muji: NYCxDesign Closing Party
Thursday 25 May
Join Dezeen and Japanese homeware brand Muji for the closing party of the festival at Muji's Hudson Yards location.
Starting at 5:00pm, the event will mark the end of the festival in Muji's showroom, which features the first US edition of MUJI IS, an installation celebrating 40 years of the brand's designs.
