Dezeen Showroom: a collection of quirky door handles made from aluminium are among seven new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Kink door handles by Martin Mogilski for Derlot
Australian brand Derlot worked closely with designer Martin Mogilski on a range of door handles that have corners crimped at 90 degrees.
Kink door handles are made using a machine usually reserved for bending sheet metal, leading to a deliberately altered appearance when used on the aluminium tubes. They can be made in a spectrum of colours, including black, red, white and bottle green.
The handles were recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a woollen rug that takes cues from ring-shaped sweets and wooden dining chairs informed by rivers in western Australia.
