Dezeen is hosting events with a number of brands for London Design Festival this year, including launch parties for Tala and Lualdi's new flagship stores and talks with designers including Yves Béhar and Patricia Urquiola.

Dezeen party at One Hundred Shoreditch
Monday 18 September
To kick off London Design Festival 2023, Dezeen will be hosting a party at London hotel One Hundred Shoreditch sponsored by champagne house Laurent Perrier.
Taking place on the rooftop of the Shoreditch hotel, the event will let guests celebrate the launch of the design week, while enjoying views of the London skyline.
It is also an opportunity to see the Time is Running Out exhibition, which is on display in the lobby of the hotel. A collaboration between design tool Plastic Free and design consultancy Omse in partnership with Dezeen, it will showcase 24 clocks that were created by creatives using new alternative materials.
This event is now at capacity and it is no longer possible to RSVP.
Tala flagship showroom launch party
Tuesday 19 September
British lighting brand Tala is unveiling its new showroom during London Design Festival with music by Qendresa and cocktails by MOTH.
The showroom is located at 40 Rivington Street, at the heart of the Shoreditch Design Triangle, in a former men's clothing boutique. Local architect Thomas Longley used upcycled materials to transform the space, which will showcase Tala's latest lighting collections and exclusive collaborations.
The party will take place from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at 40 Rivington Street, London EC2A 3LX.

Dezeen x Moroso talk
Wednesday 20 September
Dezeen editorial director Max Fraser will chair the Restless Jellyfish talk with designer Urquiola and Patrizia Moroso, the art director of the family-run furniture business Moroso.
Held at Moroso's London showroom, the talk will explore female and dynamic creativity at the intersection of art and design. Moroso's most recent creations will be on show as part of the talk.
The event will take place at 7-15 Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4SP from 6:00pm, with the talk starting at 6.30pm.

Dezeen x Lualdi talk and flagship store launch party
Thursday 21 September
Dezeen's editor-at-large Amy Frearson will moderate this talk with James Melia, founder and creative director of Blond, Xavier De Kestelier, global head of design at architecture firm Hassell, and Egor Fufachev, senior designer at The One Atelier.
Drawing on different areas of expertise, including how to harness technology to create more future-focused design solutions and how to create design that is socially, economically and environmentally aware, the panel will discuss how the past few years have fast-forwarded decades of changes.
Doors open at 4:45pm, with the talk starting at 5:00pm and drinks and canapes served from 6:30pm. There are a limited number of free places available to join the live audience in London.

Dezeen x Bentley Lighthouse Talk: towards a new future of mobility
Friday 22 September
At the end of the week, Dezeen has teamed up with car brand Bentley for the latest of our series of Bentley Lighthouse Talks.
For the London Design Festival event, Dezeen editorial director Fraser will be joined by San Francisco studio Fuseproject's founder and designer Béhar and design studio PriestmanGoode managing director Kirsty Dias, as well as Smart Mobility Living Lab director Jo Evans and Bentley design director Robin Page.
Together, they will discuss innovative new directions in mobility and transport design.
Doors will open at 4 Cromwell Place, London SW7 2JE at 12pm, with the talk starting at 12:30pm, followed by a drinks reception until 2:30pm.
