Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) has completed a restoration and renovation of the Lever House skyscraper in New York City, which the firm originally designed seventy years ago.
The studio restored the 22-storey office building's lobby, plaza, interior office spaces, terraces, third-floor lounge and mechanical systems.
This week's newsletter also featured architect Tadao Ando's design for the 10th MPavilion in Melbourne, a technique for 3D printing with wool created by Dutch designer Christien Meindertsma and the reveal of the latest region of the Saudi Arabian mega project Neom.
