Dezeen Showroom: Italian brand Fiandre Architectural Surfaces has added five new styles to its Marble Lab surface collection, offering a wide range of veined stone-like designs.
According to Fiandre, the Marble Lab collection is its most refined selection of marble-look porcelain surfaces and was designed to blend high performance with "aesthetic perfection".
The new styles include Alaska White, which the brand says seems "like a work of art" with its rich mix of beige, grey, brown and ochre grain on a white background.
There's also Jatoba Brown, with traces of gold in its veining that warm up the cool dark brown surface, and Patagonia, with its strong colour contrasts between chunks of cream and brown, while thin, refined lines make their mark on Camouflage and Breccia Sarda.
Suitable for floors, interior coverings, and external facades, the Marble Lab surfaces are available in various finishes and formats, with a new 120 by 120-centimetre size now added at the largest end of the spectrum.
The large formats give the perception of breadth, says Fiandre, while traditional formats offer the opportunity to create a distinctive surface by mixing colours and weaves.
