New York casino plans prompt "identity crisis between Dubai and Las Vegas"

Development firm Related Companies have revealed plans to expand the Hudson Yards development with an array of buildings including supertall skyscrapers and a casino.
After examining the designs, one reader remarked "New York architecture at the crossroad of identity crisis between Dubai and Las Vegas". While another described Hudson Yards as "New York City's greatest lost opportunity".
Other stories in this week's newsletter that fired up the comments section included an electric snowmobile, a wooden holiday home on the Danish coast by Norm Architects and a mountainside home clad in patinated copper panels by US studio CCY Architects.
