The Hut lounge bed is distinguished by its conical, semi-enclosed structure, which conjures feelings of both relaxation and protection.

These are enhanced by the Accoya wood construction, with gaps between the slats that allow dappled sunlight in, and an oversized circular mattress that invites deep rest.

"Hut is a unique nest on a human scale, a place to pause and regenerate," said Lavit. "A habitat where the alternating rhythm of the slats creates gaps that filter perception of this space, in a natural dialogue between inside and out."

Accoya wood is a high-performance modified wood that has a non-toxic treatment and can withstand decades of exposure to the elements.

It's matched in the Hut lounge bed with a circular metal rail, on which it is possible to hang a curtain for added privacy and sun protection.
