Dezeen Showroom: design brand Parador has introduced a herringbone variation of Modular One, its eco-focused flooring.
According to the brand, Modular One is PVC-free, plasticiser-free, durable and made with over 90 per cent renewable raw materials.
Parador released the herringbone variation in response to renewed interest in the traditional laying pattern, which Parador says is not being offered by any other PVC-free design flooring manufacturers.
The brand describes the flooring style as "classic and modern at the same time" and as having an "elegant and timeless" aesthetic.
"Herringbone not only looks great in older buildings, but also creates a beautiful interior in modern rooms," said the brand.
The Modular One herringbone range is being offered in six colours ranging from white to natural wood hues to coffee brown, and features a surface texture reminiscent of wood grain.
