Dezeen Showroom: workplace furniture brand Narbutas has launched a sit-stand desk designed to be assembled and ready to use in just nine minutes.

The Q-Active desk was created to fit the requirements of a modern office by delivering comfort and ergonomics as well as an environmentally conscious and disassemblable structure.

It saves companies time and labour that might normally be taken up by constructing furniture due to its easy-to-assemble frame, which Narbutas says can be put together in nine minutes.

The product is delivered in smart packaging, which is designed to effectively guide the assembly process and minimise errors during building. Each piece can be taken apart for easy transportation when moving between offices.

The Q-Active design comes in six desktop widths, allowing different sizes to be used for varying functions while keeping a consistent aesthetic across the space.

Other features include an anti-collision sensor that stops the desktop from bumping or compressing any items stored beneath the tabletop and a save function for the user's two preferred height options.

In line with Narbutas' sustainability commitments, the Q-Active desk is made from approximately 20 per cent recycled materials and up to 99 per cent of the components can be easily disassembled and recycled.
