Dezeen Showroom: solid wood is given a minimalist yet playful treatment in the Clyde coffee table, a statement furniture piece created by British brand Dare Studio.

The Clyde coffee table is made up of circular forms, with the flat disc of the tabletop supported by chunky, cylindrical legs.

The top of the legs are offset from the table's surface, creating what Dare describes as a "captivating relief" and giving the Clyde table a distinctive character.

Designed by Dare's founder Sean Dare, the piece is manufactured in the company's workshops in the UK and Europe.

The table is made of FSC-certified oak wood, and the grain of the timber decorates the piece's simplistic form.

"Solid, stable and hardwearing, the Clyde table has an enduring quality," said Dare Studio. "It is a durable piece that can be enjoyed for generations to come."
