Belgian practice Studio Moto designed a ring-shaped concrete viewpoint on a beach in De Panne that overlooks the North Sea.
Readers praised the structure, with one calling it "a delightful interruption" and another describing it as "absolutely delightful," adding that it would be a "great fishing spot at high tide".
Other stories in this week's newsletter that fired up the comments section included the winners of the Royal Insitute of British Architects' 2024 National Awards, a pair of high-tech skyscrapers in Bogotá designed by the late architect Richard Rogers and a concrete house in Japan by Studio Cochi Architects.
