Contour daybed by Haldane Martin for Haldane
The distinctive topography of Cape Town, South Africa, was one of the references that local design brand Haldane drew upon when designing its canopied Contour daybed.
It is available in sandy fawn and light green upholstery and features a tiered backrest, both aspects that refer to the West Coast region north of the city.
Heritage carpet tiles by Ruben De Reu for Modulyss
Flemish landscapes informed this collection of carpet tiles by Belgian flooring brand Modulyss, which designed the Heritage carpet tiles to be mixed and matched to create dynamic compositions.
Four patterns make up the range – Dune and Meadow have subtle patterns reminiscent of coastlines and countryside, while Cobbles and Polder have evocative appearances that reference cobbled streets and arable farmland, respectively.

Moroccan designer Selma Lazrak recreated the landscape of her home country in this coffee table, which is made from glossy walnut wood.
The Alcoba table is made up of broad, curving lines that create strong contrasts between light and shadow, in a similar way to the effect created by desert sand dunes.
Sayari outdoor furniture by Ashlee Lloyd for Studio Lloyd
Named after the Swahili word for planet, the Sayari outdoor furniture by South African design brand Studio Lloyd intends to convey the shapes and motifs found in African landscapes.
The range comprises a daybed, named Maoni, which is made from eucalyptus globulus hardwood, and the Kimondo side table, which features a circular marble inlay.
Bend sofa by Stone Designs for Actiu
Office furniture brand Actiu collaborated with Madrid studio Stone Designs on a modular sofa system that mimics the flow of rivers.
The Bend sofa can be combined into various fluid formations to suit a range of interior schemes.
Milos outdoor collection by Jean-Marie Massaud for Vondom
Spanish brand Vondom teamed up with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud on a series of outdoor furnishings that each evoke the feeling of Mediterranean terrain.
The Milos outdoor collection is made up of upholstered and wooden elements, which create contrast as well as harmony thanks to their curved edges and corners.
Autobahn seating by Alexander Lotersztain for Derlot
Australian brand Derlot and designer Alexander Lotersztain looked to the sweeping linear patterns created by German highways when designing this modular seating system.
Aptly named Autobahn, the system comprises long benches in straight or curved shapes with attached backrests and small round tables. The main structure can be bolstered by the addition of freestanding tables and chairs.

Plastic Rivers rugs by Álvaro Catalán de Ocón for Gan
Designer Álvaro Catalán de Ocón teamed up with Spanish brand Gan on a series of rugs that depict, in relief, areas surrounding significant waterways that are affected by plastic pollution.
Plastic Rivers rugs come in round or rectilinear shapes each delineated by a black and white border. Ganges, Yangtze, Indus and Niger are the four rivers that are featured, each made from 100 per cent recycled PET plastic fibres.
