Dezeen's #milanogram2017 day two highlights offer a tour around Milan's best installations
It's day two of Milan design week, and visitors are flocking to installations and exhibitions – including a pavilion by Jaime Hayon, a time machine by Lee Broom and objets d'art by ÉCAL.
In the second of our series of daily roundups, we've focused on the installations that have proved most popular on Instagram from Milan so far.
ÉCAL's Fine Arts and Industrial Design students are showcasing work at the More Rules for Modern Life exhibition, which blurs the boundaries of art and design.
Visitors are beginning to arrive at the IKEA Festival in Ventura Lambrate, which opens today and will host live performances, sofa talks and painting robots. It's taking place inside a huge disused warehouse at Via Ventura 14, and Dezeen is broadcasting live from the event.
Popular spots include Spanish designer Jaime Hayon's whimsical Stone Age Folk pavilion for Caesarstone, which is located at the Palazzo Serbelloni.
Amsterdam duo Formafantasma is showcasing pared-back geometric lighting for Flos at Spazio Krizia, as well as a new collaboration with Tilburg's Textile Museum.
New York designer Karim Rashid posted this image of himself walking across the giant nose of the oversized Pinocchio at Milan's La Triennale, which marks the entrance to the Design For Children exhibition.
Lee Broom has scoured his archive to create Time Machine, a carousel filled with products he has created over the last decade to celebrate his studio's 10th birthday.
Camron PR visited Christopher Jenner's tea house installation, which is inspired by traditional Chinese ceramics and located at Via Varese 12.
The curators behind Everything Is Connected, an exhibition in Ventura Lambrate celebrating young Norwegian designers, shared this image ahead of its opening tomorrow.
All week, Dezeen will be using to Instagram to reveal all the latest Milan design week news and a curated selection of the best images posted to our #milanogram2017 hashtag.
