Kane, a rising star of Africa's fashion scene, has a degree in management and business administration and a masters in product management for textile and clothing from L’Institut Supérieur Spécialisé de la Mode in Paris.
This creative, young entrepreneur with unbridled creativity gradually builds a cartoony and surreal universe around her brand that overturns Senegalese fashion codes and trends.
With her cinematographic influences, she developed an edgy and avant-garde line over the years, which earned her international media attention.
Her latest collection, Alien Cartoon, was presented last May at Dakar’s old train station, which was transformed into an invaded alien city, surreal and unlikely in the heart of Dakar, for the occasion.
