Lee Hallman

British architect Lee Hallman is the head of design at Qatari Diar.

Previously head of Candy & Candy design and a senior partner at Foster & Partners, Hallman has played pivotal design roles in a wide array of international projects in his 25 years of professional experience. These range from designing the interior of Battersea Power Station and apartments in One Hyde Park to the architecture of McLaren F1 headquarters and Canary Wharf underground station.

Qatari Diar Europe projects include the Chelsea Barracks development and the transformation of  the former London US Embassy by Eero Saarinen to a five-star hotel.

As their head of design, Lee’s portfolio at Qatari Diar Europe includes the transformation of former Olympic Village for the 2012 London Olympics into a new residential quarter and the Southbank Place development opposite the Houses of Parliament on the Thames.
