Ignorance is Bliss is the material research-based project about using metal waste from industries to create new valuable products and methods.

Metal waste from water treatment plants and soil remediation companies can be reused to colour ceramic glazes, avoiding further mining. The ceramic collection consists of porcelain tableware and interior wall tiles, which are the representation of small and large-scale applications of such a waste. In this project, surprisingly, the more contaminated the raw material, the greater the potential is for designed objects.
