Shortlisted for restaurant and bar interior of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, Dandelion Chocolate is a café and chocolate shop with its own factory located in Kyoto, Japan.

Fumihiko Sano Studio recreated a lost traditional atmosphere in a refurbished building in Kyoto by using cedar wood as one of the main materials for the project. Open spaces and some elements of San Francisco, where the brand was born, were added to make people feel comfortable and relaxed.
