Ruchika Sachdeva
Fashion designer Ruchika Sachdeva is the founder of Delhi-based fashion label Bodice.
Sachdeva set up Bodice in 2011 after studying at the London College of Fashion. With a focus on sustainability by using solely non-synthetic materials, the label aims to develop a "new language of modernity" for women in India.
Sachdeva has since been named womenswear designer of the tear by Vogue India, Harper's Bazaar and the Grazia Millennials Awards. In 2019 she spoke at Hyderabad Design Week where she discussed the humanisation of the fashion industry.
