Breezeway House is a holiday home for a young family from Sydney who enjoy the outdoors and want to spend time beside the beach.
The project is informed and embedded within the landscape. In a subtle and experiential way, the design aims to invite exploration and discovery, much like walking through the bush to the edge of a headland.
The material palette is raw, natural and robust, to enable subtle moments of craft and light to be discovered over time. The studio prioritised quality, longevity and craftsmanship in the design.
This project has been longlisted in the house interior project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
