Nimtim Architects has added a rear extension clad in cork with bright-pink windows to a Victorian terrace house in south London.
The project evolved through a process of co-creation with the clients: a graphic designer and photography agent, along with their two young children.
The small design team and intuitive clients worked together with a shared sense of adventure to produce a project on a tight budget that is playful in its use of colour and bold materials.
This project has been longlisted in the residential rebirth project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
