Lacime Architects has transformed an abandoned warehouse in Shanghai into a riverside book bar.

The studio renovated the building as well as the surrounding landscape.

During the process of transforming the site, the design team sought to create a harmonious relationship between the architecture and the natural surroundings.

This project has been longlisted in the civic building project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
