Graphic design studio Thonik and MMX Architecten have translated a bold typeface into a monochrome pattern on an office block in Amsterdam.

A grid of windows is lined by vertical stripes on the walls, diagonal stripes on the stairway and horizontal stripes on the balconies. The graphic skin brings rhythm and balance to all architectural elements.

This project has been longlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
