Färg & Blanche has designed a rechargeable lamp that lights up with the touch of your hand.

The lamp is made from mouth-blown glass in a brass basket, making all the lamps unique.

To make the lamp feel alive and in connection with the user, we wanted to take away the visible trace of functionality.

Instead of having a cord we developed a rechargeable system to give the power and you have to physically touch the lamp and turn it to get the power on, the longer the turn the more light you get.

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
