Mickus Projects has designed a new children's play and learning space in Ballston, Virginia.

The facility reimagines the family-friendly destination as a curated gallery-like experience. It's a cross between a children's museum and experimental art space.

The design utilises custom-fabricated play structures and multi-sensory installations to create intentional moments throughout the space, where a child and parent can share an experience together.

This project has been longlisted in the civic and cultural interior project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
