Designer Tatiana Bobyleva has reimagined a former communal apartment for a family based in Moscow.
The apartment is located in a house built in 1908. This is a former communal apartment, with a living room, three living rooms, a kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. According to legend, poet Vladimir Mayakovsky often came to the house, which he lived nearby.
The owners are a theatrical family: he is an actor, she is a theatre artist, an adult daughter and her family live with them and everyone loves to get together and invite guests.
This project has been longlisted in the small interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
