DESSO Futurity is a series of carpet tiles that use raw materials and the organic shapes of nature.
Tarkett provides flooring to maximise people's health and wellbeing, supported by its strong commitment to Cradle to Cradle (C2C). C2C design takes its inspiration from nature and sees carpet as being made up of nutrients that should consistently remain in use, in a continuous cycle.
The DESSO Futurity design is inspired by the big piles of post-used carpet yarns in our own carpet recycling centre. The pattern design is random, inspired by the new natural process of recycling.
This project has been longlisted in the workplace design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
