Hans Ramzan has designed a low-cost, easy-to-use, self-testing device that detects HIV.

The device encourages people in developing countries, who have limited access to healthcare, to check themselves for HIV at home.

By allowing users to test for HIV early, before it develops into AIDS, CATCH could save millions of lives each year.

This project has been longlisted in the product design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
