Sruli Recht has designed 19 objects that explore rituals, behaviours and materials created for euthanasia through self-deliverance.

These works are meant to create dialogue and visceral engagement with the audience, tackling a fundamental societal concern: the ultimate question of personal death, investigating our own relationship with mortality.

Humanity currently stands at a precipice, and this work means to contribute in aiding a more direct and honest dialogue about mortality, our responsibility as humans and the deep need for empathy and conscious living.

This project has been longlisted in the product design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
